It was just an appropriate option for one night in Coimbra with fantastic value for money. The view from my room was great, overlooking the plaza with the river nearby, made the climb worthwhile. If you're a light sleeper, avoid rooms facing the plaza due to potential noise.

Comfortable room, fantastic location, with a wonderful view of the plaza that makes it perfect for enjoying the evening ambiance, and the clean bathroom had instant hot water and great water pressure, a pleasant surprise.

We had a really really nice stay at this lovely family run hotel. The location was amazing and fantastic, close enough to the riverbank, pedestrian street, and beautiful square. It also was on bustling central plaza next to river.
Some of the staff were very rude.

The room was well-appointed and reasonably large, complete with every comfort, shower and historical style. I had fairly nice days staying at this low cost hotel.
Facilities were good, even so Wi-Fi connection was slow.

The spacious double room offered a fantastic view of the river. Unfortunately, noise from nearby bus stops and street gatherings made it difficult to enjoy peaceful evenings. The staff's friendliness was a highlight, though communication could be challenging due to limited English proficiency. The location was excellent for tourism, close to cafes and attractions.

The location was fantastic for our family of six, with plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Our spacious family room made it easy to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was genuinely cute.
My wife says that the bathroom could use a bit more space.

Great location by the river! Friendly staff offered fantastic local recommendations and the rooms were super clean. Plenty of cafes nearby for a quick breakfast.
The room was quite basic and the stairs were steep, so be prepared for that.
